From field to truck, our seed is produced, cleaned, treated, and stored with care, then selected for your unique growing conditions. Every lot meets strict certification standards, so you can plant with confidence! The best time to order seed is during the winter months. You’ll have the best choice if you order early, but don’t worry: if you run out mid-planting, we do our best to accommodate last minute seed orders too.
Durum

Semi-dwarf with very short straw, dark black awns, a good sprouting rating and a high yellow pigment that delivers superior pasta colour.
AAC Stronghold
High yielding when planted under intense management/irrigation. Short stature, good sprouting tolerance. Very strong straw strength and solid stem for sawfly protection.
Hard Red Spring Wheat

Short stature, strong straw. Yield trials show 4% yield benefit compared to Brandon. Rated Very Good for sprouting and offers easy threshing. Resistant for leaf and stem rust, midge tolerant variety (with AAC Brandon as refuge).

Very strong in all conditions. Offers a Moderately Resistant rating for Fusarium. Easy threshing.
AAC Oakman VB • NEW
NEW in 2026
Yield trials show 97% yield compared to AAC Brandon. Solid stem provides resistance to wheat stem sawfly with AAC Brandon as refuge. Very Good rating for straw strength. Resistant for leaf, stem, stripe rust as well as common bunt (smut).
CS Baker • NEW
NEW in 2027
(Part of Warburton’s 2026 program.) The shortest variety of wheat we offer. Has good lodging resistance and high yield potential: trials show yields up to 4% higher than Brandon. Has excellent milling quality. Rated Intermediate for resistance to Fusarium. Note: has a Variety Use Agreement in place.

Very short statured variety. One of the top performers for managing disease. Early maturing compared to standard check varieties. Very Good rating for both winter survival and lodging.
Soft Wheat
AC Sadash VB
#1 in soft wheat acres planted across Western Canada
Midge tolerant with Andrew as the refuge. High yielding and makes great silage.
AAC Raymond VB • NEW
NEW for the 2027 growing season
Offers improved yield over Sadash and Andrew in both wet and dry areas. Slightly taller than Sadash and Andrew. Boasts improved Fusarium tolerance over Sadash. Midge tolerant with Andew as the refuge.
Barley
CDC Durango
Replaces Austenson as a two-row feed barley. Trials show a 6% yield bump over Austenson. Two cm shorter than Austenson. Very Good rating for lodging; similar Fusarium rating to Austenson. Offers good test weight in dry conditions.
ESMA
Highest yielding barley variety we’ve ever had on our farm.
European variety with very short stature (14 cm shorter than Austenson) and strong straw. Suited for high input areas. Resistant rating for loose smut and a similar rating for Fusarium as Austenson. This variety comes with a Variety Use Agreement in place.

CDC Nasser
Considered a super/brown oat. Makes good feed or forage because it is highly digestible. Very high yielding, especially in drier conditions. Medium height with a good resistance to lodging.
Triticale

This awnless variety offers high forage and silage yield potential. Good lodging resistance rating and good forage quality.
AB Snowcat Winter
Winter triticale with reduced awns suitable for grain, forage and silage. Thick stand keeps weeds at bay. Very Good rating for winter survival with resistance to snow mold. Good rating for lodging resistance. Strong yielder across regions. Highly digestible.
Peas
AAC Ardill Yellow Pea
Top yielder on our farm
Top contender in Zones 1 and 2 for the past few years. Medium maturing. Average seed size is 230 g. Good rating for coat breakage and dimpling. Medium Resistance for Fusarium root rot.
AAC Carver Yellow Pea
A great all-round pea; a top yielder in all regions
Early maturing with good lodging resistance. Very Good rating for seed coat breakage. Average seed size is 240 g.
CDC 5791 Yellow Pea

High protein content, great standability and a good rating for seed coat breakage and dimpling. Average seed size is 250 g. This variety comes with a Variety Use Agreement in place.
